A few things you might be wondering.

Is this the original prompt used to make the video?

No. ClipToPrompt creates a recreation prompt from visible and audible details. The original model, seed, exact lens, and original prompt cannot be reliably recovered.

Can I analyze long videos and YouTube Shorts?

Yes. For long videos, choose a start and end time within your plan’s per-analysis limit. YouTube links must be public. Private, unlisted, age-restricted, or region-blocked videos may fail; try uploading a file you have permission to use.

Which video generators can I use the prompts with?

The output uses plain language, so you can adapt it for Veo, Sora, Runway, or another video generator. Results depend on the generator and may need several iterations.

What happens to my uploaded video?

Uploads are sent to our analysis provider for processing. ClipToPrompt attempts to remove the source upload after analysis; abandoned uploads are scheduled for cleanup. Results stay in your account or guest session until you delete them. Guest history is accessible only from the same browser; clearing browser storage removes access. Provider retention is governed by its own terms.
